HealthcareIs it Time to UPGRADE Your Human Tech?

Craig Upton Craig Upton3 years ago6 min

Technology is moving at such a pace that the lifecycle of much of what we own today is pretty short before new upgrades are available, apps are improved, a new version replaces the old.   12-24 months becomes the norm before we are willing to pay for a new contract, improved functionality, more widgets and gadgets. All the time we are looking outside of ourselves for entertainment, satisfaction, purpose.

What generation is your body currently functioning at?   Are you a proto-type, a Mark1 or a new generation?    Whilst we tend to think of ourselves as flesh and blood, nerves and muscles, brain and brawn….we are so much more and likely only using 10% of our potential.

Let’s explore some ways we can upgrade our physical being:

We are creating our temple with what we feed it:  What we consume creates our physical, energetic and etheric body.   High vibrational living foods straight from nature such as fruits, berries, melons, young leafy greens, nuts and seeds will create a light body feeding our brain and nervous system providing open access to creativity, joy and all that nature provides.   Starchy, sugary, protein based processed foods will keep us in the lower dense vibration of survival, carnal needs and repetitive thinking.   If we want to gain access to innovative thoughts and possibilities we should be consuming to compliment our mind’s capacities.   A session with a Nutritional Therapist can help us to determine what dietary consideration we should be making.

Balance doing with being:  whilst our inherent nature is to think, do and be busy, it is more beneficial to spend times outside of thought, without planning and acting.  When our mind is quiet is when the inspirational ideas, concepts and possibilities can drop in.   Our mind can only perceive of what it has experienced or has reference points for, but when we leave our mind behind and enter the realm of non-thinking, as in meditation, contemplation, deep breathing, then we release the barriers of our internal activity to allow the universal knowledge to be received.  Many of the great thinkers, philosophers, inventors over time have ‘received’ their genius ideas when connecting to the higher realms.  For guidance on how to shift from ‘doing’ to ‘being’ you could consult with a Wellbeing Coach.

Practice diaphragmatic breathing:  most people breath unconsciously in short breaths from their upper chest maintaining a close relationship with their sympathetic (‘fight of flight’) nervous system easily slipping into anxiety and fear.    When we practice ‘complete breathing’ which starts in your diaphragm (pushing out your belly) then moves upwards into your middle chest then upper chest – counting an inhalation of 6 seconds and an equal exhalation of 6 seconds, this slows down our brain waves, calms the mind and body, improves focus and concentration and boosts the immune system.  This parasympathetic breath work when practiced for 10-15 minutes daily can open up pathways to make meditation more accessible.

Whatever version of human you are functioning from today, within a few short weeks the benefits of these practices will be evident and you will experience an upgrade.  Unlike the tech you are investing in, your personal upgrade involves only time and determination.  For those who find the internal practices difficult to master, a session of Access Bars, can equally put you in a place of peace and ease.
