Hand sanitizers are playing a pivotal role in determining the spread of the infection. According to a survey, 77.0% of the population preferred to use Hand Sanitizers over traditional methods, while 23.0% claim not to use the product.

Hygiene awareness in current times has progressed and is attaining prominence to avoid getting the infection. That is why hand sanitizers have become the essential element of personal care, hence driving its popularity. Besides, all countries’ government is promoting the usage of unique hygiene products to increase awareness and avoid health issues among consumers. Companies are producing multiple variants and designs in hand sanitizer packaging, which is easy to use and carry.

When to use Hand Sanitizers?

Hand Sanitization reduces the spread of all types of germs and pesticides on hands. Learning when to clean your hands will give you the best chance of preventing sickness-

  • Before and after visiting a friend or loved one in a hospital or nursing home.
  • Before and after caring for someone who is sick with vomiting or diarrhea.
  • After using the toilet, changing diapers, or cleaning up a child who has used the bathroom.
  • After touching an animal, animal feed.
  • After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing,
  • Before and after touching/using public property.
  • Before and after visiting malls, supermarkets.
  • Before and after touching hypermarket trolleys.
  • DO NOT use hand sanitizer if your hands are visibly dirty or greasy. Use soap and water instead.

Several studies have concluded that the use of hand sanitizers has reduced gastrointestinal infections and respiratory infections. It is useful in restraining the spread of COVID 19 as well. Until its vaccine is available, it won’t be safe for anyone to return to normality and avoid personal hygiene. Hand sanitizer packaging is convenient, portable, and are not consuming to manage. It certainly has a prominent place in this new world we are entering and will become a part of our everyday life.
