GeneralSay Bye To These 7 Morning Habits For Good

Old habits are hard to break, which is why we do things we know are bad for us without even realising it, especially in the morning when we are pressed for time. Even if you are someone who workout or have quality ON whey protein, but not starting your day right, you can really miss the best of you.

Do you wake up to a cup of coffee or a bowl of cereal and milk every day? It’s possible that these aren’t the best ways to begin your day.

Doing these below mentioned things every day can actually be harmful to our health. If you follow the advice in this article, your morning and the rest of your day will be better than ever.

1. Skipping Shower

Taking a shower in the morning helps us find solutions because it activates the brain and reduces the risk of being distracted by external factors. Taking a shower helps the mind come up with new and creative concepts. This is why taking a shower as soon as you get out of bed is so important.

2. Using Your Phone

People stick to their phones first thing in the morning to check their social media accounts. What we do in the morning sets the tone for the rest of the day. As a result, stop squandering your time stalking the lives of others, reading their posts, and forming opinions about what they have to say. Checking your work e-mail inbox can also add time to your workday. Turning on your favourite music, spending time with your loved ones, or preparing a healthy breakfast are better ways to spend your time.

3. Taking Hot Showers

Taking a hot shower in the morning will make you want to crawl back into bed because hot water has a relaxing effect. Taking a cold shower in the morning has some benefits such as it gives you a boost of energy, stimulates your brain, and boosts your immune system. The skin isn’t dried out by cold water, unlike hot water, and people who take cold showers regularly can lose a few kilos, according to scientists’ findings.

4. Brushing Teeth After A Meal

Instead of brushing your teeth immediately after a meal, rinse your mouth with water and floss any leftover food. Brush your teeth only after 30 minutes of eating.

5. Spending Too Much Time On Picking An Outfit

Have you ever sat in the morning wondering, “What should I wear?” Don’t add to the morning chaos by looking for clothes. Reduce your wardrobe’s variety to make your choice easier.

Make a section in your closet for your work clothes. Clean out your closet and donate unused items and store the off-season clothing separately.

6. Making The Bed Immediately After Waking Up

Leaving your sheets as it is after waking increases the growth of mould and mildew. After you wake up, it’s best to remove the blanket from the mattress and let it air dry completely.

7. Drinking Black Coffee

After waking up, drinking a cup of black coffee raises your cortisol levels, which can lead to feelings of anxiety. You can also get gastritis if you drink coffee when you’re hungry. Three or four hours after waking up is the ideal time for your first cup of coffee. Add a little milk or cream to your cup of coffee in the morning if you can’t resist. By doing so, you can lessen the stomach-churning effects of the beverage.

Conclusion

We understand how difficult it can be to completely give up a bad habit all at once. Because of this, letting them go one at a time is preferable. It was decided that the first step would be to refrain from checking our phones first thing in the morning. What are your thoughts? Feel free to share with us in the comments section below.
