Recipe Design, a meaning centred design and innovation consultancy, and MyGlobalHome, a group of experts shaping the future of living, have announced a new partnership centred around creation and deployment of future-facing digital health solutions.

Recipe Design has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare, with a particular specialism in the intersection of health and home. Previously very different sectors, Recipe Design has been at the forefront of their convergence in recent years, supporting projects as varied as pharmaceutical businesses adapting to digital health for the home and, vice versa, helping consumer-facing lifestyle brands develop a credible offering in the wellness space.

Drawing on Recipe Design’s expertise, and leveraging the consultancy’s unique innovation process, Meaning Centred Design, the collaboration with MyGlobalHome will explore how the meaningful deployment of technology can unlock new possibilities for digital health in the home.

At the heart of the partnership is a focus on user experience, and a desire to optimise how consumers understand and interact with digital health tools within a broader ecosystem. By gathering diverse datasets within a singular ecosystem – integrated into the built environment – the solution developed by Recipe Design and MyGlobalHome will be able to better contextualise digital health insights and therefore deliver greater value for the end user.

Simon Browning, Chief Operating Officer, Recipe Design commented, “Two of the biggest growth verticals for design in the 2020s are health and home and our partnership with MyGlobalHome is an opportunity to realise a plethora of innovation opportunities that will define how we live for years to come.

“The three opportunity areas we have been focusing on in recent years – patient-centricity, wellness and digitalisation – are perfectly aligned with the MyGlobalHome vision for the future of the home and we look forward to collaborating with them to realise it.”

Lee McCormack, CEO, MyGlobalHome added, “Having worked at the intersection between health and home for so many years, Recipe Design is uniquely positioned to help us create a digital health ecosystem which prioritises the user’s experience and needs as they evolve over time.

“Moreover, their experience of designing coherent and consistent digital solutions will be an invaluable asset as we realise our vision of home looking after its occupants, not the other way around.”
