GeneralCelebrity-Approved Skincare

Many celebrities have some of the nicest-looking skin imaginable. At one point, you might’ve wondered how they do it—they must use a bunch of extremely expensive products, right?

Wrong! The truth is that most celebrities follow completely ordinary facial rejuvenation routines that even the everyday person can adhere to. Let’s get into it!

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek has gorgeous, radiant skin with no visible blemishes. This might lead you to believe that she has all sorts of beauty products at her disposal, or that she even underwent Botox treatments, but according to Hayek herself: “Have I done it? No, still no.”

The real reason behind Salma Hayek’s natural-looking beauty is her skincare routine. She reportedly doesn’t cleanse her face in the morning—instead, she mists her face with water and moisturizes with some tepezcohuite. Then, she applies a shea butter balm to make her lips plumper. The results are nothing short of staggering!

Cate Blanchett

Blanchett wouldn’t be an elven princess without her ethereally good looks, but what are her skincare secrets?

In the morning, the star uses an essence by SK-II, then applies a serum for a brighter skin tone. After, she moisturizes and makes sure to apply SPF 50 sunscreen. Finally, before bed, she exfoliates her skin to get rid of dry, dead cells. Even the simplest routines get the job done!

Victoria Beckham

Posh Spice, familiarly known as Victoria Beckham, is not only big on fashion, but keen on keeping her skin youthful. Her routine requires just a bit more effort, but if you’ve seen Beckham’s skin, you know that it works, and that it’s worth it!

In the morning, Beckham splashes some cold water on her face. This helps her wake up and gets rid of residual sleep puffiness. Shortly after, she uses a serum to enhance her glow before applying a moisturizer from her own line, Golden. She also takes fish oil, magnesium, vitamin C, and zinc supplements, along with a little apple cider vinegar. Lastly, she uses light therapy devices, although these are somewhat controversial, as nobody is sure whether or not they actually work. Still, something has got to give—Beckham’s skin is to die for!

Halle Berry

Halle Berry has been in some of the most popular films of all time, but how do you think she got there? Because she looks incredible! Here’s how she does it.

Twice a day—once in the morning and once at night—Berry cleanses her face. She then uses Ole Henriksen Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub to exfoliate. After, she puts on a refreshing face mask. Finally, she applies a lactic acid serum, leaving the surface of her skin fresh and free of dead cells. She clearly knows something that we don’t!

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow is confident enough to post no-makeup selfies for millions to see. She got to this point by religiously following a routine that she recently outlined in a YouTube video!

Paltrow begins by dry brushing her skin, which exfoliates dead cells and improves her circulation. Next, she puts Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum on her skin. Then, like Cate Blanchett, she applies 30 SPF sunscreen along with a little lotion. For photo shoots and other special events, she uses eye masks to keep bags and dark spots away.

It’s no wonder that Gwyneth looks so great!

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez is the personification of the American dream: she’s a singer, dancer, actress, producer, and fashion designer. She is also the owner of her own skincare line, JLo.

Lopez’s mornings begin with a comprehensive gel cleanser from her JLo line, That Hit Single. Then, she uses her line’s Glow Serum and applies 30 SPF sunscreen. Finally, she takes a few supplements (again, from her own line) that promote cellular renewal and collagen production. These compounds keep her skin healthy.

Obviously, all of these famous women have relatively simple skincare routines. If they can fit them into their days, then you can, too. So, give them a shot and see what works best for your needs. You definitely won’t regret trying!
